Counselling & Psychotherapy

Counselling and psychotherapy offer a powerful opportunity to explore your challenges, gain self-awareness, and create a path forward. This journey of self-discovery can reconnect you with yourself, provide deeper insights into who you are, and lead to a more fulfilling life and richer relationships.

I work with adults and couples, offering both short-term counselling and long-term psychotherapy to promote growth, enable change, and support healing. Our work together can range from a few focused sessions on specific concerns to deeper, more transformative therapeutic work lasting a year or more.

My approach is integrative, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities to tailor our sessions to your unique needs. Some of the approaches I use include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred, Existential, Transactional Analysis, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, and Solution-Focused Therapy.

I can support you in addressing a variety of challenges, including:

  • Anxiety (Generalised, Social, and PTSD)

  • Personal and work-related stress

  • Trauma and traumatic experiences

  • Phobias

  • Depression and low mood

  • Anger management

  • Relationship issues

  • Low self-esteem or confidence

  • Perfectionism

  • Disordered eating

  • Bereavement and loss

I also have expertise in working with the LGBTQIA+ community, especially those exploring or navigating gender identity and sexuality. Additionally, I work extensively with Black and Minority Ethnic clients, providing support to those who have experienced racial or ethnic discrimination.

Next Steps

The first step is to get in contact. This can be done via telephone, email or the contact form on my website. Getting in contact gives you the opportunity to ask any questions about how I practice and clarify any concerns you might have in regard to pursuing therapy or coaching. The initial contact also gives you the opportunity to arrange an initial session.

The second step is an initial session. This is a 50-60 minute session and is a chance for us to meet, speak about what has brought you for therapy or coaching and to decide if you want to continue working together. There is no obligation to return if you decide that the service is not for you.

If you decide to continue, then a day and time will be arranged to fit with your availability. The number of sessions is flexible around your needs.
