About Me
Hello, I’m Anthony Davis.
I am an accredited psychotherapist, coach, and clinical supervisor working with individuals and organisations seeking meaningful, sustained change. My work focuses on supporting clients navigating complex emotional, relational, and identity-based challenges, particularly those who may not feel fully understood within more traditional therapeutic spaces.
I bring over 15 years of experience across mental health, social care, and the charity sector. My background includes roles as a clinical social worker and operational lead within social care and the NHS, where I worked with adults facing a wide range of physical, cognitive, and psychological difficulties. This experience continues to inform a nuanced understanding of how mental health is shaped by both individual experience and wider systemic factors.
Additionally, I have completed a BA (Hons) in Psychology, a Master’s in Clinical Social Work, and an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Coaching. I have also pursued advanced training in CBT, Psychological Studies, and Contemporary Psychotherapy. I am currently working towards a Professional Doctorate in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
This combination of clinical training and applied experience allows me to work both in depth and with practical focus.
My approach is integrative and grounded in both psychotherapy and coaching. This means we look carefully at the patterns shaping your experiences, how you think, feel, and relate, while also developing ways to implement change in your day-to-day life. The work is collaborative but structured, with a focus on creating sustainable shifts rather than short-term ones.
I have a particular focus on working with Black and racialised clients, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those navigating questions of identity, belonging, and relational complexity. This work is informed by a commitment to culturally responsive, trauma-informed practice. I aim to provide a space where you do not need to minimise or over-explain your experiences, and where the work can move at a level of depth that reflects your needs.
Alongside my clinical work, I provide supervision for therapists and trainees, and consult with organisations through workshops, training, and wellbeing-focused initiatives.
I remain actively engaged in ongoing professional development, research, and clinical supervision to ensure my work continues to meet a high standard of care.
Please contact me to arrange an initial session to discuss what you want to achieve from working together.
